Number plate 5 fetches Dh 25.2 mn at AD's first auction
Abu Dhabi, May 12th,2007 (WAM) -- The single number plate (5) was sold at a whopping price of Dh 25.2 million on Saturday during the first auction for the choice number plates in Abu Dhabi.
Businessman Talal Khoury was the highest bidder in the auction which was organised by the Emirates Auction Company at the Emirates Palace Hotel.
The proceeds from the auction will go for the rehabilitation of the road accident victims and projects for people with special needs.
