WAM Abu Dhabi, Oct. 18, 2009 (WAM) -- A delegation from the UAE Public Prosecution will take part in a conference of heads of public prosecution, prosecutors and attorney generals of Arab countries. UAE's Attorney General, Salim Saeed Kabish, is heading the UAE delegation to the conference, to be held in Marrakesh from October 19 to 22.

The conference will discuss, among other issues on its agenda, the mechanisms of activating joint Arab efforts in the areas of combating crimes, particularly organised crimes. This is to be done through concerted efforts, direct contacts among public prosecutions of Arab countries, capacity development of member countries and the use of modern technology.

The delegation includes the Chief Prosecutor, Ahmed Rashid Al-Danhani and Administrator at the office of the Attorney General, Mus'ab Juma Al-Mansouri.
