Mohammed launches new look of Al Ittihad

WAM Abu Dhabi, 20th October 2009 (WAM)-- H.H. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, launched today at the Emirates Palace a new contemporary full-colour redesign of Al Ittihad, the flagship Arabic daily newspaper of the Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC), coinciding with celebrations for the newspaper's 40th anniversary. Sheikh Mohammed said he was extremely pleased with the advanced stage the paper has reached today in terms of technology and quality after 40th years of its birth. Sheikh Mohammed told Abu Dhabi Radio Network that '' The most important of all this is to reach out to these illuminating minds and faces who are the real gain of the country. Those minds, he affirmed were behind the result we are seeing today. The grand ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, H.E Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, H. E. Mohamed Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC) and a number of top media and cultural personalities. WAM/TF
