Dubai, 29 Oct. 2009 (WAM) - A delegation from the UAE, led by Juma Al Majid, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Juma Al Majid Centre for Culture '&' Heritage, visited Tajikistan on 20-25 October.

During the visit, the delegation members discussed with Tajikistani officials ways to strengthen cultural and scientific cooperation. They also visited a number of cultural landmarks, including the Oriental Research Institute at the Tajikistan Science Academy, the National Museum, Islamic School, a historic castle built by Muslim Ibn Qutaiba, the National Library, the Islamic University and the Grand Mosque in the capital Dushanbe.
