Abu Dhabi, 2 Nov. 2009 (WAM) -- H.H. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, welcomed today President of Seychelles James Alix Michel as part of his visit to the UAE to attend the F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi grand prix.

Sheikh Mohammed hoped relations between the two friendly countries would scale new heights, affirming the UAE 's sincere desire to build bridges of constructive cooperation with friendly Seychelles especially in sectors like economy, investment and tourism.

For his part, the president of Seychelles praised bilateral friendly bonds as an example of constructive cooperation.

He also expressed admiration at the good organisation of the F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit, which he described as most magnificent track of motor sports.
