Abu Dhabi, 8 Nov. 2009 (WAM) - Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received today at the Presidential Palace ambassadors of sisterly and friendly countries who recently submitted their credentials to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In presence of Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of interior, Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the ambassadors Yaqoub Ba-Omer of South Africa, Radomir Kosic of Bosnia Herzegovina, Tatsuo Watanabe of Japan, Dionis Zeus of Greece, Dato Yehya ben Abduljabbar of Malaysia, Zubair Ahmed Sufyan Al Ahdal of Comoros, Costas Papademas of Cyprus and Mohammed Abdi Dilo of Kenya. Sheikh Mohammed expressed UAE's keenness to open new channels of interaction and cooperation with different nations of the world in an environment of mutual respect and co-existence among different cultures. Sheikh Mohammed urged all concerned authorities to provide necessary facilities to the accredited ambassadors. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, H.E. Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, Lt. General Musabah Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Vice President, Prime Minister '&' Dubai Ruler's Office, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director of Dubai Protocol Department, and a number of senior officials.
