WAM Abu Dhabi, 10th November 2009 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received a written message from Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir dealing with latest efforts to bolster national unity of Sudan.

Sheikh Khalifa affirmed the UAE's keenness on the stability and national unity of Sudan.

Sheikh Khalifa got the note from the visiting Sudanese Interior Minister Ibrahim Mahmoud during an audience at the Bateen Palace.

HH Lt.General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and a number of Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials attended the meeting.
