WAM Dubai, Nov 22nd, 2009 (WAM)-- His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai today left for London on official visit to Britain. During his visit, he will meet Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries. Sheikh Mohammed, who is accompanied by a high-level delegation, will discuss with Gordon Brown, British Prime Minister, ways to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Britain. The delegation includes HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Airline and Group, HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, HE Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, HE Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of Dubai Ruler's court, HE Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and HE Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee, UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
