WAM Abu Dhabi, Nov 22nd, 2009 (WAM)--xxxxWith unlimited support from HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, the UAE Armed Forces recruited women to serve the country.

The UAE national woman proved as testified by HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces that they proved their capability to belong to the Army in regard to their high sense of duty and self denial.

The UAE Armed Forces has been playing pivotal role in organisation and supervision of exhibitions in favour of national economy.

The role of the UAE Armed Forces also extends to humanitarian missions. It participated in Iraq, Lebanon, Kosovo, Yemen, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
