Ruler of Ajman stresses women participation in national achievements

WAM Ajman, Nov 24th, 2009 (WAM)--His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has emphasised the contribution of women in the national achievements, adding that they have proven their role and would score more achievements.

He called on the UAE national women to continue their studies to serve the country indicating that the Emirati woman has become a minister, an ambassador and a Member of Parliament.

The Ajman ruler made the remarks today during his reception of Ajman University of Sciences and Technology's female students, who called to wish him well, on advent of Eid Al Adha and the National Day Anniversary, at emiri court in presence of Ajman Crown Prince HH Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.

"This Emirati woman honour is a fruit of union implanted by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan", he said, hailing the development process and prosperity being led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who followed the course and policies of his late father.

He also lauded the efforts of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Their Highness Rulers of emirates, on following the foot steps of the UAE founder.
