WAM Occupied Jerusalem, Dec 11th, 2009 (WAM)-- Settlers set fire to a village mosque in Yasouf south of Nablus damaging several parts of the mosque and a library where holy books were shelved.

The perpetrators broke open the doors of the mosque early this morning, sprayed petrol around and set the shrine ablaze.

The Palestinian villagers rushed to the site and struggled to put out the fire that had swept across the second floor. They were welcomed with abusive slogans sprayed onto the doors of the mosque. One of them read: 'We will burn all of you'.
