WAM Male (Maldives), Dec 29th, 2009 (WAM) -- HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has received a written message from His Excellency Mohamed Nasheed, President of the Republic of Maldives accepting invitation to participate in the International Summit for Future Energy to be held in Abu Dhabi next year on 18th to 21st January.

The message was received by H.E. Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Mahmoud, UAE's Non-Resident Ambassador to the Maldives during a meeting in the capital Male with H.E. Dr Ahmed Shaheed, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives.

Al-Mahmoud also delivered a message of HE Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs on developing the bilateral relations between the countries.
