WAM Dubai, Jan 04th, 2010 (WAM) -- Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated in Dubai this evening, Burj Khalifa, the tallest edifice ever built on earth.

Sheikh Mohammed unveiled the commemorative plaque at the site announcing the official opening of the tallest tower built by man on the planet amid the applause and congratulations to His Highness on this national achievement in the country's march of civilisation.

The opening coincided with the fourth Anniversary of the accession of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to power in the emirate of Dubai.
