Sultan issues directives to boost work, increase production

WAM Sharjah, Feb 07th, 2012 (WAM)--H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, has issued a number of directives to upgrade delivery of services in the emirate of Sharjah.
Sheikh Sultan issued the new legislations here today, while chairing the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) meeting in his office in the presence of H. H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, crown prince, deputy ruler of Sharjah and chairman of the (SEC) and H. H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the SEC.
The Ruler of Sharjah welcomed the members of SEC, wishing them success in service of the citizens and the country. He issued the new additional legislations to upgrade work and increase production, focusing on the relationship between the administrator and the employee, and the need for administer to follow up and monitor all the details of work to solve problems and immediately correct errors when they occur.
Sheikh Sultan also called for a direct link between the SEC chairman and his deputy with the institutions in Sharjah to keep them posted about work progress to help take correct decisions in time.
He underlined that the emirate of Sharjah was slow in spending during the last period to avoid plunging in the debts and problems, adding that the next period will see remarkable hike in spending on the strategic projects, services, development in the departments, increment in salaries and allowances for employees and eligible citizens as well.
Sheikh Sultan hoped the increment of salaries would help youth and families in tackling burdens of life.
He referred to the setting up of the Sharjah Statistical Centre, which will provide accurate credible statistical reports on the social, economical and environmental conditions of each area, village and suburb.
The chairman of SEC expressed pleasure of the SEC members to meet the Ruler of Sharjah, who chaired the SEC meeting, pledging that the SEC members will implement all the directives made by Sheikh Sultan.
Present were the SEC members, including, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Thani, Head of the Department of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Sheikh Essam bin Saqr bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ruler's Office, other Sheikhs and officials.
