2012-11-09 16:42:15
WAM Abu Dhabi, Nov 09th, 2012 (WAM)--The Embassy of Egypt in Abu Dhabi has lauded the initiative of H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah to donate a wide range of rare original manuscripts, folders and rare books and encyclopedias, and maps whose titles are over 4000 to the Egyptian Scientific Complex, which burned last year.

Egyptian Ambassador to UAE Tamer Mansour said that Egyptians were pleased about the valuable gift announced by Sheikh Sultan immediately when he heard about the fire incident, which gutted the complex and its library. He added that the Ruler of Sharjah had ordered the reconstruction of the complex at his expenses at cost 50 million Egyptian pounds.
