The UAE Pakistan Assistance Programme produces documentary film

WAM Abu Dhabi, Nov 30th, 2012 (WAM)--The administration of UAE Pakistan Assistance Project (PAP), has prepared a documentary film entitled: "spirit of solidarity" in collaboration with the National Media Council (NMC) and the Abu Dhabi Media Company.

The film will be broadcasted by Abu Dhabi television on the UAE's 41st national day anniversary.

The film reviews the story of UAE Pakistan Assistance Programme, which was launched in accordance with the directives by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to support and assist the Pakistani people.

It shows humanitarian qualitative shift created by PAP in the lives of peoples in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South Waziristan and Bajour regions through the implementation of development projects that had social and economic impact in the lives of the local people.

The documentary film highlights the education, health and humanitarian projects. It also shows the PAP's effort to construct the bridges, roads and other infrastructure projects.

It covers the vaccination campaign of 20, 000 Pakistani children upon the orders of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The NMC will distribute copies of the documentary film in Arabic and English to all the Arab and foreign Embassies, local, Arab and international charity and humanitarian organisations.
