Abu Dhabi to host "Prospects for an Enhanced Arab-Latin American Partnership" forum

WAM Abu Dhabi, Dec 13th, 2012 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi will play host to ''Prospects for an Enhanced Arab-Latin American Partnership'' forum next Sunday.
The Forum is being held under the slogan "Partnership for development" in the context of the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and under the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research is patronising and chairing the forum along with Dr. Leonel Fernandez, former president of the Dominican Republic and president of the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD)and Fundacion Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE).
The event is organised by the UAE University in cooperation with Fundacion Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and will discuss social, cultural and educational partnership in addition to combine diplomatic focus on international climate development aiming at reaching peaceful solutions on international disputes.
It will also explore the prospects for establishing economic and trade sustainable partnership including investment in the energy sector, water management and agriculture in addition to other projects.
