The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted French Minister of Industry Arnaud Montebourg, who described that meetings he had in Saudi Arabia were positive and fruitful, praising the deep-rooted economic and historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France.

The French minister addressing a press conference here at the French embassy in Riyadh said that the talks with Saudi officials about the peaceful usage of nuclear energy were fruitful, calling for establishing a joint investment fund with the Kingdom to achieve industrial projects and exchange of technology.

He added that the meetings with officials at King Abdullah City for Nuclear and Renewable Energy were aimed at further deepening cooperation in the fields of domestic nuclear industry.

According to him Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault will undertake a scheduled visit to the Kingdom in the near future.
