Ajman Ruler receives head of Malaysian Royal court

WAM AJMAN: H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ajman today received the head of Malaysia's Royal Court, Tango Suliman Shah Bin Abdul Rahim Sultan Salahuddin, and members of the delegation of the International Islamic University - Malaysia, led by Professor Siti Nur Amirah Binti Kamar Ruddin.
In remarks at the meeting, Sheikh Humaid haled the Malaysian varsity for promoting Islamic culture and Islam's principles of tolerance, moderation and rejection of extremism.
For his part, the head of the Malaysian Royal Court thanked Sheikh Humaid for his generous grant which covers the construction of 68 housing units for the University's female students.
Sheikh Humaid also pledged to cover the costs of building an on-campus mosque at the International Islamic University - Malaysia. He expressed readiness to cater for all the needs of the University to enable it to meet the demands of its mission.
