Saudi and Tunisian Foreign ministers to co-chair political consultation committee meeting

WAM Tunis, Jan 29th, 2013 (WAM) -- Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs started yesterday a two-day official visit to Tunisia during which he will co-chair with his Tunisian counterpart Rafik Abdul Salam, the Tunisian Foreign Minister, the activities of political consultation committee between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tunisia.

Al-Faisal, in his remarks, carried by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Tunisia have consistent agreement regarding various issues and whatever relations are good, there is a room for strengthening them.

He also pointed out that there was an agreement between the two countries to hold meetings between their officials from time to time to review the strategic cooperation between them including the selecting and forging of goals in order to achieve their ends in all political, economic and social fields.

"We are here to discuss these issues," Prince Saud Al-Faisal said and hoped that Saudi-Tunisian points of view will be identical in all areas.
