WAM ABU DHABI: Trinity Forum 2013, the travel retail industry's key annual conference, will open tomorrow (Wednesday) in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Viceroy Hotel and International Media Centre at the YAS Island Formula One circuit.
Hosted by Abu Dhabi Airports Company ( ADAC ), the 2013 Trinity Forum will run from 30th to 31st January 2013 and is jointly organized by Airports Council International (ACI) and the Moodie Report.
The Trinity Forum will be opened with welcome speeches from the organizers of the event: Dermott Davitt, Deputy Publisher, The Moodie Report; Angela Gittens, Director General of Airport Council International; and, Mohammed Al Bulooki, Chief Commercial Officer of ADAC , followed by a keynote address by Phillippe Schaus, Chairman and CEO of DFS Group.
The theme for this year's conference is "Thought Leadership in Travel Retail". Key topics for discussion will include the industry's evolution since the first Trinity Forum in London ten years ago, and the major challenges that it continues to face in driving footfall, penetration and spend, and in engaging consumers. Some of the prominent speakers on the conference panels include: - Martin Moodie, Founder and Chairman, The Moodie Report; - Muriel Zingraff-Shariff, Retail Concessions Director, London Heathrow Airport; - Andrea Beardini, CEO, Europe, The Nuance Group Europe; - Dan Cappell, Senior Vice President Commercial, Abu Dhabi Airports Company ; - Roland Stieger, Commercial Director, Nestle International.
