WAM Abu Dhabi, Mar 4th, 2013 (WAM)-- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a note from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran pertaining to the bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.

The letter was received by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, during a meeting with Mohammad Reza Fayad, Iranian Ambassador to the UAE.

The meeting revolved around the bilateral relations between the UAE and Iran, ways to enhance and develop it, in addition to a number of matters in areas of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Rashid Saeed Al Amri, under-secretary for Government Coordination Department at Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
