Central Bank governor attends Lebanese Business Council symposium
WAM Abu Dhabi, Mar 25th, 2013 (WAM) -- Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, Governor of UAE Central Bank attended an Economic Symposium organized by the Lebanese Business Council, (LBC) yesterday in Abu Dhabi.
He also attended the seminar and luncheon, which was held in honor of Dr. Riad Salameh, Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, along with Sufyan Saleh, President of LBC and Dr. Jassim Al Mannai Director General Chairman of the Board Arab Monetary Fund, Khalfan Sa'eed Al-Ka'abi. First Vice-Chairman, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce '&' Industry, Raed Charafeddine, First Vice-Governor, Central Bank of Lebanon, Mrs. Farah Khatib. Hariri, Charge d'affaires of Lebanon embassy, ambassadors of Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, and a crowd of UAE and Lebanese businessmen and heads of business council in Abu Dhabi.
Sufyan Saleh, President of LBC speaking on the occasion praised the good relations with Gulf in particular the UAE, stressing that the state has always provided generous support to Lebanon in various areas of development, business and humanitarian fields.
