Kazakhstan Media delegation visits NMC and UAE Media Organizations
WAM Abu Dhabi, May 9th, 2013 (WAM) -- A media delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan led by Altay I. Abibullayev, Deputy Director and spokesperson of CCS, affiliated with the office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, today visited the National Media Council (NMC) in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation and exchange of expertise in various media fields under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed later by the two sides regarding their interest in enhancing joint cooperation, and the establishment of cooperation avenues for the exchange of information and experience in media affairs regulation, publications and media distribution.
The Director General of the National Media Council (NMC), Ibrahim Al Abed, stressed the importance of the implementation of the agreements, and developing them to serve the common interest between the two sides, pointing out the importance of mutual cooperation between the various media bodies in both countries.
The Kazakhstan media delegation also met with a number of officials from the Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC), , where they discussed with Ayman Safadi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), aspects of cooperation between the two sides, in the presence of Saif Saeed Ghobash, Chief Operating Officer of the company.
The delegation was briefed on the programme plans of Abu Dhabi TV's News Center by its Director, Abdul Rahim Batih, and possible ways of cooperation with television stations in Kazakhstan.
The delegation also visited the Abu Dhabi Radio Network, where they were briefed on the latest methods used by the network, and commended the mechanisms used to transfer information to listeners via the latest techniques.
Abdul Rahman Awadh, Director of Abu Dhabi Radio Network at Abu Dhabi Media Company accompanied the delegation on its visit, and stated how very important it is to open new horizons for cooperation with radio networks in Kazakhstan, for the benefit of both sides.
