Sharjah Crown Prince chairs Executive Council Meeting
WAM SHARJAH, 29th October, 2013 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council today chaired the meeting of Executive Council, which was held at the office of H.H. the Ruler.
The Council discussed a number of issues on its agenda and issued resolution No. 25 for the year 2013 on regulations of the councils of suburbs and villages.
The Council approved a request submitted by the Public Works Department to grant one of its employees study leave to complete his studies in the Republic of Austria to get a doctorate degree in Smart Traffic Systems as stipulated in Article 2 of the Executive Council Resolution No. 18 for the year 2008.
The Council approved a draft MoU to be held between Sharjah Health Authority and the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Republic of South Korea, which aims to examine the latest technical developments in the field of health care, medical equipment and exchange of experiences in the field of health care.
The Council adopted a proposed budget for the committee of the U.A.E.'s 42nd National Day celebrations in the Emirate of Sharjah, submitted by Mohamed Ali Al Noman, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA).
The Executive Council also approved the third instalment of housing aid for 328 beneficiaries for the year 2013, with a total amount of AED 210.75 million.
The Council addressed a number of topics related to the Emirate's public affairs and proposals to develop and promote and took the appropriate decisions regarding them.
