MANAMA, 12th January, 2024 (WAM) -- Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,986.39 points, marking a decrease of 3.68 points below the previous closing, reported Bahrain News Bahrain (BNA).
According to BNA, this decrease was due to the drop in the Communication Services Sector, Financial Sector and Material Sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 741.45 points, marking a decrease of 2.93 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 28 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,239,337 worth BD1,557,189.
Investors traded mainly in the Material Sector, representing 89.18% of the total value of securities traded.
