Applications for 17th Khalifa Award session closed

ABU DHABI, 12th January, 2024 (WAM) -- The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education announced the conclusion of its 17th session application window, receiving a diverse range of research papers in 10 fields across 17 categories.

Open since September, the award attracted submissions from the UAE, the Arab world, and internationally, showcasing a global commitment to educational excellence.

Amal Al-Afifi, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, said the current session witnessed a huge turnout as applicants submitted works related to various educational and academic fields.

She explained that the award made a strenuous effort in the community awareness programme, whether at the level of educational and academic institutions or through participation in specialised international book fairs.

The award actively amplified its reach through online platforms and outreach programmes. Applicants received dedicated support, including workshops with faculty experts and round-the-clock communication channels.

Applications were submitted electronically, streamlined by a modern platform offering technical assistance. Now, specialised committees begin the accurate sorting process to identify the most outstanding contributions.

The Khalifa Award for Education aims to enrich the development of the educational field and provide for effective interaction between local, Arab and international contributors to the field.
