Seoul shares up on Thursday morning

SEOUL, 14th March, 2024 (WAM) -- South Korean stocks traded higher late Thursday morning, led by auto and financial companies, Yonhap News Agency reported.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index rose 4.37 points, or 0.16 percent, to 2,710.54 as of 11:20 am.

The local currency was trading at 1,316.40 won against the US dollar, down 1.90 won from the previous session's close.
