BEIJING, 18th October, 2024 (WAM) -- China's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 4.8 percent year-on-year in the first three quarters of 2024, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed Friday.
Xinhua News Agency quoted NBS data as showing that the GDP reached around 94.97 trillion yuan (about US$13.33 trillion) in the January-September period.
In the third quarter, the economy expanded 4.6 percent year-on-year and went up 0.9 percent on a quarterly basis, according to the NBS.
