DAKAR, 15th November, 2024 (WAM) -- Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Republic of Senegal to Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, during an official reception ceremony at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Dakar.
Al Naqbi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to Diomaye, and their wishes of further progress and prosperity to the government and people of Senegal.
Al Naqbi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in Senegal, and emphasised his keenness to enhance bilateral relations across various sectors, affirming his readiness to collaborate with the Senegalese side on all fronts that would contribute to the further advancement of relations and the realization of the aspirations and interests of both leaderships and peoples.
For his part, Diomaye conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and expressed his wishes for further development and growth for the government and people of the UAE.
Diomaye also commended the distinguished friendship and cooperation ties between his country and the UAE, highlighting the UAE’s exemplary role as a reliable strategic partner with leading expertise across various economic, industrial, and development fields.
