ABU DHABI, 14th December, 2024 (WAM) -- MAKTABA, within the Culture Sector at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), has launched the fourth MAKTABA Art Hub exhibition at Al Wathba Park, running daily until December 22.
Thirty artists will showcase their artworks during the exhibition, including digital art, paintings, clay, crochet, handicrafts and photography.
The exhibition offers them a platform to connect with the public, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a cultural centre. Visitors can also explore a vibrant blend of local and global artistic expressions through interactive activities, including workshops for children, youth, and families, as well as storytelling sessions, handicrafts, a games area and cultural discussions, offering a rich and engaging experience throughout the 10-day event.
MAKTABA is committed to fostering cultural and artistic dialogue by hosting events that encourage direct interaction between the public and artists, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s vision of becoming a global hub for arts and culture. This exhibition supports local talent while offering a unique artistic experience for audiences of all ages.
