NANJING, 3rd May, 2025 (WAM) -- One person was killed and four others injured when a helicopter crashed on Friday in the city of Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, local authorities said Saturday.
The Robinson R44 II helicopter was returning from a flight when it crashed from a height of approximately 10 metres at around 5 p.m., according to Xinhua, citing the local emergency management bureau.
The crash resulted in the death of one person on the ground. All four individuals on board sustained injuries and have been hospitalised. None of the injured are reported to be in life-threatening condition.
The Jiangsu Provincial Civil Aviation Authority has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
