PARIS, 20th May, 2025 (WAM) -- Operations at Paris Orly Airport returned to normal on Monday evening following a prolonged technical malfunction that caused widespread disruptions.
According to the French Ministry of Transport and the aviation authority DGAC, operations have resumed, with the full flight schedule expected to be back on track by Tuesday.
The disruption began on Sunday afternoon, when a technical fault in the control system forced authorities to restrict air traffic, significantly reducing flight movements.
As a result, 40 percent of flights were cancelled on Sunday and 15 percent on Monday. Passengers also faced delays in addition to cancellations.
