TOKYO, 11th July, 2025 (WAM) -- A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck near Japan’s Tokara Islands on Friday, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The agency stated that the epicentre of the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometres.
However, it confirmed that the quake posed no tsunami threat.
