LONDON, 13th August, 2026 (WAM) -- European stocks closed lower on Wednesday.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index fell 0.16 percent to 659.48 points, while Germany's DAX declined 0.17 percent to 26,346.29 points.
France's CAC 40 dropped 0.46 percent to 8,674.94 points.
