NEW YORK, 22nd September, 2026 (WAM) -- US stocks closed higher on Monday, supported by gains in artificial intelligence-related companies and a decline in Treasury yields.
The S&P 500 rose 114.20 points, or 1.49 percent, to close at 7,764.70.
The Nasdaq Composite gained 599.55 points, or 2.26 percent, to end at 27,122.09.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 366.19 points, or 0.71 percent, to finish at 52,048.83.
