DUBAI, 16th February, 2024 (WAM) -- Belarus held off a spirited Senegal side to take all three points in their opening FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup UAE 2024 Dubai™ match f following a well-deserved 6-4 victory.
An Aleh Hapon hat-trick helped Belarus to victory over their African opponent in their UAE 2024 Dubai™ opener.
Belarus started the stronger and netted the goal their dominance deserved at the end of the first period when Hapon rifled home a penalty.
Senegal continued to fight and brought the contest level through Amar Samb in the second period, but goals from Bryshtsel, Yury Piatrouski and a further two from Hapon confirmed a well-earned victory for Belarus.
