ISLAMABAD, March 13th, 2024 (WAM) -- The sale of cars in Pakistan experienced a remarkable surge of 118.36 percent in February 2024 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as per data released by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
In February 2024, the sale of cars soared to 7,953 units, marking a significant increase from 3,642 units sold during the same month in the previous year, reported the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
However, the sale of cars during the first eight months (July-February) witnessed a decline of 40.92 percent compared to the sales recorded during the corresponding period of the fiscal year 2022-23.
The data reveals that 46,417 cars were sold during the review period, contrasting with 78,575 units sold during the same period in the previous year.
