ISLAMABAD,19th March, 2024 (WAM)-- In a significant development for Pakistani professionals seeking international opportunities, 600 individuals have embarked on their careers abroad following the successful negotiation of strategic employment agreements with global partners, according to Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
This marks a major milestone for the initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. It underscores Pakistan's commitment to expanding global employment opportunities for its skilled workforce.
This initial group represents just the beginning. The number of professionals placed abroad is expected to rise significantly as global employers continue conducting interviews and selecting candidates on a regular basis.
The initiative's success extends beyond the sheer number of placements. The execution timeline is equally impressive. Agreements were signed, and the workforce was deployed internationally within a remarkable 90-day period.
With 50 international agreements generating over 10,000 interviews, the initiative has culminated in the selection of 600 highly skilled professionals who will represent Pakistan's workforce on the global stage.
