FIFA appoints Mattias Grafström as Secretary-General

The FIFA Council formally appointed Mattias Grafström as the football governing body's secretary-general, DPA quoted FIFA as saying on Wednesday.Sweden's Grafström has had the job on an interim basis since October 2023, when Fatma Samoura stepped down. He is a close confidant of FIFA president Gian
