AL KHOBAR,23rd November, 2024 (WAM) – Boat no 96 for HPI Fujairah Racing Team, driven by Italian brothers Rosario and Giuseppe Schiano di Cola, dominated the overall standings in the UIM XCAT World Championship: the second Alsharqiyah Grand Prix, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after taking the second place.
The Fujairah team obtained 30 points to raise its score to 215 points, a head of boat no. 2 Swecat Racing, with one point, which came fourth.
Team GB 8 won the second Alsharqiyah Grand Prix, held for the first time in Saudi Arabia From 21st to 23rd November 2024.
Ten teams competed the current championship standings which revealed a tightly contested battle at the top.
The UIM XCAT World Championship celebrates speed, skill, and cutting-edge innovation. This event marks a pivotal moment in the championship, as the penultimate round before the Grand Finale in Dubai, next December, where the World Champion will be crowned.
