DUBAI, 13th December, 2024 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), today attended a reception hosted by the Consulate General of Qatar in Dubai at the Grand Hyatt Hotel to mark Qatar National Day.
Upon arrival, Her Highness was received by Saeed bin Ali Al Hajri, Consul General of Qatar in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. HH Sheikha Latifa conveyed the congratulations of the UAE’s leadership, government, and people to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and the Qatari people. H.H. Sheikha Latifa affirmed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and expressed her sincere wishes for Qatar's continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
The reception was also attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future; Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State, and the Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet; Major General Talal Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Director-General of the State Security Department in Dubai; Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA); Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai; Essa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC); Mohammad Ali Rashid Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers; and several other senior officials and dignitaries.
