SHARJAH, 10th February, 2025 (WAM) -- Khawla Ahmed Al Hosani, Deputy Director of the Sharjah Education Academy, announced a press conference detailing the fourth edition of the Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education, themed “Promising Horizons.”
The event will take place on 23rd and 24th February 2025, at the Academy, in collaboration with the Sharjah Private Education Authority and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
Al Hosani stated that the summit will feature over 35 panel discussions and 140 workshops, with participation from more than 190 education specialists from over 30 countries.
The sessions and workshops will focus on various topics stemming from main themes, including innovative teaching and learning practices, envisioning the future of education, equity and inclusion in schools, and sustainable, future-ready education.
On the pre-summit day, scheduled for 22nd February 2025, 13 specialised workshops will be conducted by a select group of education experts. These workshops aim to empower educators and enhance learning outcomes. Topics will include dynamic language teaching using AI and technology, the role of data in educational leadership and transformation, building school communities based on justice, diversity, belonging, and equality, as well as early childhood STEM education and effective reading strategies for developing comprehension skills.
These workshops provide valuable opportunities for teachers and education leaders to learn about the latest strategies and techniques in education and professional development.
