Abu Dhabi City Municipality completes maintenance work on gardens of 70 mosques

ABU DHABI, 19th March, 2025 (WAM) -- To enhance the aesthetic and civilised appearance of mosque gardens during the holy month of Ramadan, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through the Infrastructure and Municipal Assets Sector, completed maintenance and upgrading work on 70 mosque gardens on Abu Dhabi Island and external cities within the geographical scope of the municipality.

The work aimed to highlight the mosque gardens in the most beautiful way during the holy month of Ramadan, and provide a suitable environment for worshipers, in a way that enhances the standards of sustainability, quality of life and the general aesthetic appearance, and is in line with the civilised and urban renaissance witnessed by Abu Dhabi.

The maintenance work, which was carried out in all the gardens that witnessed the work, included cutting and defining the green spaces and soil covers, weeding and fertilising flowers, as well as reviewing the connections of irrigation water networks, reviewing the lighting assets in the mosque gardens, in addition to carrying out fertilisation operations for the agricultural elements in these gardens.
