Over 600 participants, 16 scientific sessions, 70 speakers at MEAPEN 2025

DUBAI, 18th April 2025 (WAM) -- The Middle Eastern Alliance for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (MEAPEN) Congress returns for its 4th edition later this month, bringing together an extensive network of healthcare professionals in Dubai on 25th and 26th April at the Intercontinental Festival City.

After a number of successful editions held in Abu Dhabi, Amman, and Muscat, MEAPEN 2025 is expected to continue its momentum, serving as one of the region’s most comprehensive gatherings focused on clinical nutrition.

The two-day congress will spotlight developments in parenteral and enteral nutrition while expanding into broader medical specialties and subspecialties.
This year’s congress is set to attract a multidisciplinary audience, including physicians, clinical dietitians, pediatricians, nurses, oncologists, neonatologists, hepatologists, nephrologists, clinical pharmacists, intensivists, gastroenterologists, and endocrinologists.

The conference programme focuses on several key themes that highlight the growing importance of personalised medical nutrition in critical care.

Over 600 participants, including healthcare professionals, are expected to attend the congress, where they will witness more than 70 expert speakers in 16 scientific sessions.

MEAPEN will also feature more than 20 participating companies and 50 poster presentations that display the latest scientific breakthroughs. Delegates will also receive 28 CME credits from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

Dr. Wafaa Ayesh, Chairperson, MEAPEN; Vice President, ASPCN and Consultant Clinical Dietitian from the UAE stated, “We are thrilled to bring this year’s MEAPEN Congress to the heart of Dubai—a city synonymous with innovation, ambition, and healthcare excellence. Against this dynamic backdrop, we gather the region’s brightest minds in clinical nutrition to ignite meaningful dialogue, foster cross-sector collaboration, and chart a path forward for patient-centered care."

“This isn’t just a congress—it’s a movement. One that brings together thought leaders, clinicians, and community practitioners from across the Middle East and beyond to drive forward a shared vision: a regionally grounded yet globally informed standard of care in clinical nutrition.”

Organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding, with the support of several Arab and international scientific and medical institutions, the conference is an integrated platform for collaboration and development of nutritional healthcare in the Middle East.
