MUSCAT, 19th April, 2025 (WAM) – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman will embark on a two-day state visit to the Russian Federation on Monday, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported Saturday.
A statement, issued by the Diwan of Royal Court, said the state visit is in response to an invitation received by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik from President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.
According to the statement, the visit comes within the context of promoting relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation in a manner that meets aspiration of the two countries.
The visit will discuss areas of cooperation between the two countries in various spheres and means of boosting them to serve the joint interests, it added.
During the visit, the two leaders will exchange views on a set of current regional and international issues.
