RAS AL KHAIMAH, 23rd April, 2025 (WAM) -- A student from RAK Academy Al Hamra has claimed first place in the Challenge ME Maths Championship 2025, one of the region’s largest academic competitions, held from 18th to 20th April at the Swiss International School in Dubai.
The event attracted more than 40,000 students from over 100 schools across the Middle East. RAK Academy Al Hamra had nine students qualify as finalists, competing in three rounds — Quest, Odyssey, and Adventure — which tested mental math, logical reasoning, and advanced problem-solving.
Grade 3 student Jenna secured first place in her category, bringing home the championship trophy.
“Being among the final nine out of more than 42,000 participants is an achievement in itself,” said Graham Beale, Executive Principal at RAK Academy Al Hamra. “To have one of our students win the top prize is truly inspiring.”
RAK Academy, one of Ras Al Khaimah’s leading educational institutions, said the result reflects its commitment to fostering academic excellence and providing students with opportunities to engage in high-level competitions.
“This success is a reflection of the hard work of our students, the support of their families, and the dedication of our teaching staff,” said Karolina Jankowska, Head of School.
