RAS AL KHAIMAH, 28th April 2025 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, reiterated the emirate's commitment to investing in future sectors, building an integrated ecosystem to attract leading companies and creative minds, and supporting a knowledge- and technology-driven economic diversification journey.
He emphasised the provision of all necessary resources to accelerate the growth of technology companies, enabling them to develop innovative solutions that address global challenges, further strengthening the UAE’s position as a global investment hub and enhancing Ras Al Khaimah’s regional and international competitiveness.
H.H. Sheikh Saud made these remarks during a meeting today at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City with a delegation representing several companies.
The delegation included representatives from THi Holding Management Corporation, a leading Singaporean-Chinese industrial real estate management firm based in Shanghai, SC Capital Partners, a major real estate investment manager headquartered in Singapore, CapitaLand Investment, and the China Innovation Centre in the UAE.
The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Hawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment, and Ramy Jallad, RAKEZ Group CEO.
During the meeting, H.H. Saud bin Saqr witnessed the signing of an agreement between Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) and THi Holding Management Corporation to establish a next-generation industrial park in Ras Al Khaimah, aimed at attracting and supporting advanced technology companies from around the world.
Spanning an area of 300,000 square metres in Al Hamra, the park will offer an integrated environment that promotes sustainable growth and enhances Ras Al Khaimah’s competitiveness in the technology sector.
RAK Ruler said that the establishment of the advanced industrial park reflects the emirate's vision to build a progressive knowledge economy. It also demonstrates Ras Al Khaimah's firm commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, investors, and young talents in fields such as artificial intelligence, software, and advanced technologies. The park will serve as a strategic addition to the emirate’s innovation and digital transformation infrastructure and as a regional centre shaping a future of greater prosperity and progress.
H.H. Sheikh Saud praised the strong and growing cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and leading regional and global companies, particularly in the advanced technology sector, stressing that this collaboration sets a pioneering model for economic and investment partnerships based on shared development visions.
