SHARJAH, 13th May, 2025 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired the Council meeting held on Tuesday morning, at the Ruler's Office.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.
During its meeting, the SEC discussed a number of governmental issues and the emirate's comprehensive development plans to enhance its leading position in social, cultural, and economic services, as well as its distinguished legislative structure.
As part of completing the legislative structure of the judicial system in Sharjah, the council discussed a draft law regulating court fees and directed that the draft law be referred to the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) for discussion and completion of its legislative term.
The council reviewed the Sharjah Health Authority's response regarding the SCC's recommendations regarding the authority's policy discussion, which included an emphasis on the importance of the Consultative Council's recommendations and proposals. The response explained that the authority is working to implement the recommendations.
The Executive Council discussed proposals to develop procedures related to the economic sector, to enhance the business and investment environment and support small and medium-sized enterprise owners by accelerating procedures and providing integrated proactive services.
