DUBAI, 20th May, 2025 (WAM) -- Meta, in collaboration with the Creators HQ, held its first regional event to unveil “Edits”, a new video editing application designed specifically for creators.

The event hosted by Creators HQ, the first dedicated space for content creators in the UAE and the Middle East, featured a hands-on workshop titled “Mastering the Edit – Meta’s New Video Editing App”, offering creators an in-depth look at the platform’s advanced tools and features.

Available for free on both iOS and Android, “Edits” empowers users to create and enhance short-form video content with ease and artistic flair, marking a significant leap in digital content creation.

This event is the first major initiative following the announcement of a strategic partnership between Meta and Creators HQ, which was unveiled during the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai in January 2025.

With Edits, Meta aims to empower creators and influencers to produce high-quality, meaningful content that spreads positivity and adds value to communities.

The app offers an all-in-one toolkit that streamlines the creative process, from production to sharing, making it easier than ever to bring ideas to life. Edits include a range of advanced features such as: green screen background replacement, automatic multilingual subtitles, audio enhancement and background noise reduction.

The app has high-precision video editing, stickers, support for video recording up to 10 minutes in high resolution, as well as watermark-free video export allowing creators to seamlessly share content across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
